Himland Vision
Founded in April 1999 by the Himland Educational Society, Himland Public School was established with a clear and noble objective — to provide quality education of international standards at an affordable fee to the children of Dirba and its surrounding villages.
The school is an English-medium, co-educational institution, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, up to Class 10+2. Himland Public School proudly offers all four academic streams at the senior secondary level: Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce, and Arts. Over the years, the school has grown in strength and reputation and is now recognized as one of the leading educational institutions in Punjab.
📘 Our Philosophy of Education
At Himland, we believe that school is a child’s first formal institution and a vital extension of the home environment. As the two most consistent influences in a child’s life, the family and the school play a crucial role in shaping their personality, values, and outlook on life.
We deeply understand the significance of a child’s first experience with schooling, and we are committed to making that experience not only informative but also enjoyable, wholesome, and enriching. The management and staff work collaboratively to create a learning environment where education goes beyond textbooks and examinations.
Following the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) guidelines laid down by CBSE, we focus on the overall development of every child. Our goal is not to produce rote learners or bookworms, but to nurture well-rounded, confident, and thoughtful individuals who are prepared to meet the challenges of the future.
At Himland Public School, education is an enlightening journey — one that fosters curiosity, builds character, and cultivates a lifelong love for learning.
